August Artwalk at the Bellsouth Tower-8/2/06

Center artist, Princess Rashid, along with 7 other Jacksonville artists will exhibit at the Bellsouth Tower for the month of August. The show opens on the First Wednesday for and is an Artwalk venue. The title of the show is "Art-iculation"

SS AND THE FIRST LADIES

We've always heard the saying "behind every great man is a great woman." Often we know more about the man than the woman, that is up until now.
Suzzette Solano has not only captured the images of these women, but has done so in the most amazing technique she calls "Thematic".
The Exhibit titled BETWEEN THE LINES takes the viewer back in the life and times of the US President's wives. Suzzette makes learning history "interesting". Don't let all the reading intimidate you. If you would rather look at the paintings instead, you can do that ,but you will know more about the painting if you read a little of what motivated this remarkable artist, and what you will learn when you read BETWEEN THE LINES.
