GUESS WHO? FUNDRAISER
We are planning a fundraiser for December and all sales will benefit both the artists who participate and The Art Center. The details are as follows:
Guess Who - a special event to benefit The Art Center, to be held on Saturday, December 4th from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at The Art Center II Gallery, located at 229 North Hogan Street. All artwork for this event will be 8 x 10 inch originals on paper, with the artist’s signature on the back only, and priced at $50 – or 4 x 6 originals on paper, with the artist’s signature on the back only, and priced at $20. Patrons will not know the identity of the artist until after they have made their purchase.
Instead of asking artists to donate their work to raise funds for this event, TAC would like to share the wealth by splitting all sales equally with participating artists. If your 8x10 piece sells for $50, you will receive $25 and TAC will receive $25. If your 4x6 piece sells for $20, you will receive $10 and TAC will receive $10.
Artists are allowed to submit up to five pieces for this event. No mounting, matting, or framing is allowed.
Although no cash prizes will be awarded, we will be awarding ribbons based on a “People’s Choice” vote to held at both Art Walk and the event. For planning purposes, please let Marsha Hatcher or Yvonne Lozano know via email if you will be able to participate. Thanks!
Deadline for submissions is November 23, 2010.
