TEXTURES - a workshop by Artist Joyce Gabiou May 14th 10AM

The Art Center Presents Joyce Gabiou, An award winning artist, Joyce has been published in Watercolor Artist Magazine, "Beyond the Brush", Creative Workshop, February 2009, and "A Walk Into Abstracts" Vol. II, an E-book featuring 27 contemporary artists, March 2011.
Participants will be experimenting with texture, using joint compound, gesso, gel medium and a few more fun surprises. Joyce will demonstrate the mediums used, followed by a hands on experience. Joint compound will be supplied. Students will need matte medium, paper plates, palette knife and several medium size sheets of watercolor paper, canvas (approx. 16 x 20”) or mat boards.
Class fees are $15 for members and $25 for non-members.
