September 15th marks the kick off to Hispanic Heritage month. The First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Prudential Insurance Company are celebrating the accomplishments of Hispanic owned businesses in the Jacksonville area as well as achievements by Hispanics in the visual arts and in music. To this end, the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its 1st annual “Celebrando Victorias” event to take place on that date during the Chamber’s monthly networking event.
The most accomplished Hispanic businesses and their CEOs will be spotlighted through a moderated panel discussion. The event will also be a celebration of Hispanic heritage and achievements in the arts and music and will include artwork exhibits, samplings of local Hispanic restaurants, networking and media coverage. Among the honored guests invited to attend this event is Mayor Alvin Brown. The venue for the event will be the Aloft Hotel in the South Side Blvd Tapestry Park Village, 4812 Deer Lake Drive West, Jacksonville, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
We hope that you may wish to consider participating in “Celebrando Victorias” by exhibiting examples of your artwork and attending the event. If so, let us know and we will provide to you further details of the event, how to submit your works for consideration and we'll be happy to answer any questions.
